My lessons are 20 minutes. Free caps at 2.
Then Free is for learning the tool, not for shipping the course, and it is better to say that than to have you find out at export. Pro at $89 once removes the length cap permanently. Against per-minute transcription or subscription editors across forty lessons, that maths is not close.
Will the captions be accurate enough to publish?
They are word-level and editable, which matters more than raw accuracy: click a line, fix the term, and the change appears in the preview, the burned-in captions and the exported SRT. Technical vocabulary and names are where you will spend that time.
Can I keep a consistent look across forty lessons?
That is what templates are for. Caption style, fonts, colours, layout and cards save once and apply in a tap, so consistency stops depending on you remembering settings in week six.

Can I export subtitles as an SRT file?
Yes. Zella exports SRT, VTT or CSV from the Captions tab, alongside captions burned into the video.
Is there a length limit on recording?
No. Recording is unlimited on every tier. The 2-minute limit applies only to export on the free tier, and Pro removes it.
Does Zella remove filler words from a lesson?
Yes. It removes silences and filler words such as um and uh, and each step is individually undoable.
Can I reuse the same intro across every lesson?
